SignalScout ("we", "us") helps consultants discover public, buyer-intent posts. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights. SignalScout is operated from Lithuania, EU.
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Email address (waitlist, account, checkout) | Create your account, send product updates, deliver the service you signed up for. |
| Account profile from Google/GitHub sign-in (email, name, avatar) | Authenticate you when you choose social login. |
| Scan inputs (niche, keywords) and leads you save | Run scans and store leads you explicitly save to your account. |
| Payment details | Handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. |
| Basic usage/diagnostic data | Keep the service reliable and secure. |
The scanner itself queries public community APIs (e.g. Hacker News, Dev.to) directly from your browser. We do not collect the people whose public posts appear in your feed.
We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the service), for our legitimate interests (security, improving the product), and with your consent where required (e.g. marketing emails).
You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, or object to processing. Email us and we'll act within 30 days. You may also contact your local data-protection authority.
We keep account data while your account is active and delete or anonymise it on request or within a reasonable period after closure, except where law requires longer (e.g. invoices).
We use essential browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your language and scanner settings. No third-party advertising trackers.
